The production of geothermal water is similar to the production of Oil and Gas, where the water is called ‘produced water’. In geothermal, too, facilities corrosion inhibitors are used. The SensCorr measures the effectivity of such corrosion inhibitors. The interface (the HART Loop Converter) transfers (upon choice) 4 parameters:

1. Electrical resistance (ER) with metal loss in micrometer.
2. LPR with corrosion rate in mm/year. ASTM G59.
3. Pitting Index according to ASTM G99.
4. The Oxygen content (semi quantitively).Also other parameters, like pH value, or rare cathodic reduction reactions, can be transferred via the HLC.
